Independence Pass
Colorado, 1978. Mom, me, Aenea, Naomi, Kenneth (left to right). This was taken somewhere near Independence Pass which has an elevation of 12,095 ft. Dad said I got my first sunburn on this vacation. I'm guessing I was around 4 months old since the vacation was sometime during the summer. Follow this link to google maps to see the area where this photo was taken. View Larger Size from Flickr.
Also, just to give you guys an idea of the detail of these scans, the following is a crop of Naomi from the previous image (i.e. the crop is shown in the original scanned resolution). This isn't the sharpest of the slides I've come across but you get the idea:

Christopher,
ReplyDeleteI'm love seeing all these great pictures! Keep up the good work!
Awesome slide. You have to love those plaid shorts I'm wearing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Aenea, I'm glad you guys are enjoying the slides.
ReplyDeleteKenneth, if you think those plaid shorts are nice, you should wait until I post the next picture :-). That comment reminded me I have a another great picture to post...
I love that little Kenneth seems to have a problem with keeping his shoes tied. I love evidence, Christopher. Thank you sooo much. Keep it coming. I'm so sorry to hear about the early beginning of your antagonistic relationship with the sun.
